Sound Meditation Journeys

 

I offer immersive Sound Meditation Journeys in Nelson and across Aotearoa, creating deeply restorative experiences that support relaxation, nervous system regulation, and deep rest.


These sessions are designed as guided, multi-sensory experiences using sound, stillness, and intentional rest to support the body in downshifting from stress into a more settled and restorative state.


What the experience involves


Sound Journeys are held in a calm, supportive environment and begin with gentle guidance to support relaxation and presence.


Participants are then invited to rest while being immersed in layered soundscapes using instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, gongs, drums, chimes, and other acoustic instruments.


The experience is passive, restful, and accessible — offering space to slow down, unwind, and reconnect.


Nervous system support


These sessions are designed to support nervous system regulation, helping to shift the body out of heightened stress states and into deeper states of rest and restoration.


Many people describe experiencing:

  • deep physical relaxation 
  • reduced mental overactivity 
  • emotional ease or release 
  • improved sleep quality 
  • a sense of grounding and clarity 


Experience & approach


Each Sound Journey is guided with intention and care, shaped by my background in Yoga Therapy, meditation, and advanced training in sound-based facilitation.


I work with a large and diverse collection of instruments, allowing for rich, layered sound experiences that can be adapted for different group sizes, retreat themes, and intentions.


My approach is grounded, trauma-aware, and focused on creating a safe space for rest and integration.


Ways to experience Sound Journeys


Sound Journeys are offered in a range of settings, including private sessions, intimate group experiences, community sound baths, and retreat and event collaborations.


Collaboration & retreats


I am regularly invited to facilitate Sound Meditation Journeys within retreats, workshops, and community events.


These sessions can be tailored to align with the theme and flow of a retreat, offering either deeply restful evening sessions or integration-focused experiences.


I also offer regular community sound journeys in Nelson and surrounding areas.
