I’ve been lucky to complete over 1,000 hours of training in various styles of yoga—like Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin, Bliss, and Yoga Therapy (IAYT)—mostly in India. What I share now is a gentle blend of everything I’ve learned along the way, combining the ancient wisdom of yoga with the healing power of modern therapy—blending a little from each style to create my own unique approach to sharing yoga.
My path into Yoga Therapy opened a deeper understanding of the nervous system—something I’ve seen many people needing support with since arriving here in the Nelson community. This now sits at the heart of my work—offering a gentle space to feel safe, slow down, and return to balance.
Classes are gentle and somatic, with a strong focus on mindfulness and present-moment awareness. I invite you to tune into your own body and move in a way that feels good for you—rather than striving for any final shape—trusting that true progress comes from honoring your inner experience, and that the final shape comes naturally as your body softens, opens, and trusts.
Classes are beginner-friendly, with options for those who’d like a little more challenge, making them accessible to everyone, no matter your experience.
You’re likely to leave feeling freer in your body, calmer in your mind, and a whole more connected to yourself.
